**S** — sift your mind carefully and well, the way you'd sort good grain from chaff. Set aside the noisy chatter that just pulls your heart this way and that, and keep your attention clear.
The heart truly comes alive when love wells up inside it — real love, rising like water from a spring. And right there, in that place where love overflows, you find the One filling everything completely, the source and ruler of all that exists, present through and through.
The letter Sassa. so neekaa kar sodhhu — refine, examine (sodhhu) your mind beautifully, sublimely. ghat parchaa kee baat nirodhahu — the literal "refrain from talk that attracts the heart" points to steadying the mind away from ghat parchaa — the chatter and stimulation that scatter the heart; nirodhahu — restrain, still it. Then the warm turn: ghat parchai ja-o upjai bhaa-o — when the heart is engaged, bhaa-o (love) wells up. poor rahi-aa tah tribhavan raa-o — and there the "King of the three worlds" (rendered per project lens as the One filling and pervading all existence) is fully present. The movement is characteristic: quiet the noise not as an end in itself but so that love can rise — and where love rises, the One is found saturating everything.
When you get quiet inside, what kind of good feelings have a chance to rise up that noise usually drowns out?
