Adoring Him, my mind is cured of all its ailments. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Inwardly and outwardly, He is my companion and helper; He is the One to be realized.

Adoring Him, my mind is cured of all its ailments.

The One is your companion within and without — and adoring it cures the sick mind.
The deeper layer

The One is companion "inwardly and outwardly" — present in the heart and in the world alike (cf. Shabad 145). And adoration cures: "my mind is cured of all its ailments." Devotion is medicine for the sick mind, and the healer is present both within and without.

A Question to Sit With

What heals your mind when it is troubled?
