Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:
ਜਾ ਕਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਤੁਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥
jaa kaa thaakur tuhee parabh taa kay vadbhaagaa.
One who has You as His Master, O God, is blessed with great destiny.
ਓਹੁ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਸਦ ਸੁਖੀ ਸਭੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੧॥
oh suhaylaa sad sukhee sabh bharam bha-o bhaagaa. ||1||
He is happy, and forever at peace; his doubts and fears are all dispelled. ||1||

The one who has You as Master, O God, is blessed with great destiny.
He is happy, forever at peace; his doubts and fears are all dispelled.
To belong to the One is itself the great fortune from which peace and fearlessness grow.
To have the One as Master is itself "great destiny": from it flow happiness, lasting peace, and the clearing of "doubts and fears." Belonging to the One is the root from which all the rest grows.
