ਦਿਨੁ ਭੀ ਗਾਵਉ ਰੈਨੀ ਗਾਵਉ ਗਾਵਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਰਸਨਾਰੀ ॥
din bhee gaava-o rainee gaava-o gaava-o saas saas rasnaaree.
I sing His Praises during the day, and I sing His Praises during the night; I sing them with each and every breath.
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਸਾਸੁ ਹੋਇ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰਤ ਸੰਗਾਰੀ ॥੩॥

In the True Congregation, this faith is established: the Lord is with us, in life and in death.
The deepest faith, grown in good company, is that the One is with us in life and in death.
Continual praise ("with each and every breath") and the faith the Sangat establishes: "the Lord is with us, in life and in death." The deepest reassurance — that the One does not leave at death — is confirmed in good company.
