The One Tears Down, Builds, and Merges You In

In plain words

He demolishes and He builds; by His Order He merges us into Himself.

Whatever is pleasing to His Will happens; without the Guru, no one obtains the Perfect One.

The One tears down and builds, and merges you in — all by the same order, through the Guru.
The deeper layer

The One takes apart and builds up, and everything happens within the One's order.

Dhaahi usaaray hukam samaavai — the One knocks down and builds up, and by the Hukam, the One's order, draws us back into Himself. Think of a Lego city taken apart so something new can be built. Taking apart is part of making. Whatever pleases the One's Will, happens.

The last line says how we reach the Perfect One. Without the Guru, no one finds the Perfect One. The way is through the Guru, and our own effort alone is not enough.

A Question to Sit With

What is being built in you even through what is torn down?
