Those who know their own home, are happy, O Siblings of Destiny.

They realize God within their own hearts, through the glorious greatness of the Guru. ||7||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Those who come to know their own home — they are the ones at peace, brothers and sisters.

Within their own hearts they recognize God: this is the glorious greatness of the Guru.

Peace belongs to those who finally toured their own house — and recognized Who lives in the innermost room.
The deeper layer

Guru Amar Das says peace belongs to people who come to know their own home.

Jinhee ghar jaataa aapnaa — those who know their own house. That is all. Not people who conquered kingdoms, or gave them away. Just people who finally explored their own home.

In the deepest room they found what the first line promised. Antar barahm pachhaani-aa — they recognized God within their own hearts.

The key word is recognize. It is not building something new or winning a prize. It is like seeing a friend's face in a crowd and knowing them at once. The One was always there. Their eyes were finally able to see.

And who gets the credit? The Guru. This seeing is the Guru's greatness at work.

A Question to Sit With

If your inner life were a house, which rooms have you never entered?
