Grace Re-Issues the Whole Lost Toolkit

He grants faith to those whom He has blessed with His Glance of Grace.

This mind finds truth, contentment and self-discipline, hearing the Immaculate Word of the Shabad. ||6||

In plain words

The one He blesses with His own Glance — in that one He plants loving faith.

Truth, contentment, and self-discipline come to that mind; hearing the Immaculate Word, it is made pure.

Grace re-issues the whole lost toolkit — your part is staying within earshot of the Word.
The deeper layer

This one says grace gives back the whole lost toolkit.

This verse answers the last one, tool by tool. What the reeling soul lacked comes back as sat santokh ih sanjmee: truth, contentment, and self-control. The toolkit is rebuilt.

And the way it happens is clear. The One's Glance plants bhaavnee, loving faith, the root of it all. Then the pure Word, when heard, does the rest.

Notice the two parts. Grace does the planting. The soul's part is to keep listening, to stay close enough to hear the Word. Think of a plant by a sunny window. It does not make the sun. It just stays where the light falls. Healing is not fixing yourself alone. It is staying where the healing words are spoken.

A Question to Sit With

What do you keep within earshot — what voices, songs, words — and what are they building in you?
