O Nanak, they never forget the Naam, and in the Court of the Lord, they are known as true. ||9||13||35||

In plain words

Those who join their consciousness to the Bani are immaculate — accepted as genuine.

O Nanak, they never forget the Name — and at the True Court, they are known as true.

At the final Door there are no testimonies — the metal rings, and the Court recognizes its own.
The deeper layer

Those whose hearts stay joined to the Guru's words are pure, and the One knows them as true.

Jin baanee si-o chit laa-i-aa — they have joined their chit, their heart and mind, to the Baanee, the Guru's Word. Joined, not just visiting now and then.

Two results follow. First, say jan nirmal parvaan — they are pure and accepted. This raag has talked about fake coins and real treasure. Here the coin finally rings true. Second, say dar sachay jaan — at the True door, they are known as true.

Known. Not announced, and not argued for. Think of coming home, and your dog runs to you before you say a word. It already knows you. At the One's door no one has to prove anything. The color of the Name shows, the metal rings true, and the One simply recognizes its own.

A Question to Sit With

If you were known purely by what you are — no explanations allowed — what would be known?
