In plain words

O my dear wandering heart, so far from home — please come home.

Meet true wisdom, and the One will come to live right inside you; delight in that love.

Your wandering heart is being softly called home — and home isn't empty; love is already moving in.
The deeper layer

This tender Chhant repeats mayray piaari-aa — 'O my dear beloved' — to the wandering mind, like a parent softly calling a child in from the cold. The opening is pure invitation: pardaysee man... ghar aavai — O stranger mind, come home. And the promise of what waits at home: the Lord will dwell in the home of your self — you don't come home to an empty house, but to one where the Beloved is already moving in. Every verse's refrain keeps the tone gentle and loving, never scolding: this is a homecoming being wished for you, over and over.

A Question to Sit With

What does 'coming home' feel like to you — not just a place, but a feeling?
