In plain words

The real seeker finds every treasure there is.

They lift their heart up from the low, grasping places to the highest, clearest place inside.

Waking up is like rising inside — lifting your heart from the low, worried places to a wide, clear, peaceful one.
The deeper layer

The Pause names the reward of the inward search: such a Yogi obtains the nine treasures — every kind of true richness. And it describes the movement of waking up: he lifts his soul up from below, to the skies of the Tenth Gate — raising the heart up from the low, grasping, anxious places to the high, clear, open place within. It's a picture of inner ascent — not climbing a mountain, but rising in awareness, from the cramped basement of me-first worry to the wide sky of a heart at peace. The treasures aren't out there to be found; they open up as you rise inside.

A Question to Sit With

What lifts your heart from a cramped, worried place to a wide, clear one?
