He continually plays in supreme bliss. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Wherever I go, there the One already is —

playing everywhere in pure, endless delight.

Wherever you go, the One is already there ahead of you — present everywhere, playing in pure delight.
The deeper layer

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. It names what Naam Dayv found.

Jatar jaa-o tat beethal bhailaa — wherever I go, the Beloved is there. Mahaa anand karay sad kaylaa — always playing, in the greatest joy.

Naam Dayv cannot go anywhere to fetch a gift without finding the One already there first. And the One is not sitting far away, waiting to be served. The One is already there, dancing through every place, full of joy.

It is like playing hide-and-seek with someone who is in every room at once. You do not have to bring the One to a special place, or give a gift to make the One show up. The One is already everywhere you go, playing happily. That includes right where you are standing.

A Question to Sit With

How does it feel to imagine the One already joyfully present in every place you go?
