Even Your Beauty Is the Beloved's Gift

In plain words

I have found a joy that never ends, and I celebrate it always.

With the nine treasures of the Name, I am content in my own home.

Says Nanak: when the happy bride is adorned by her Beloved, she is happy with Him forever.

Even your beauty is the Beloved's gift — loved freely, adorned freely, content for good.
The deeper layer

The close is contentment: "satisfied in my own home" with "the nine treasures of the Naam" — all wealth, found within (cf. Shabad 39, Shabad 98). And the crowning point: the bride is "adorned by her Beloved" — even her beauty is His gift, not her achievement, bookending the grace-beyond-merit of the opening. Loved freely, adorned freely, happy forever.

A Question to Sit With

What would change if you trusted that the good in you was a gift, not a score you had to earn?
