Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

O my mind: the people who keep good company end up singing songs of joy.

They're handed a treasure more precious than any jewel — the gift of the good itself.

Keeping good company leads you to joy — and to a treasure more precious than any jewel.
The deeper layer

The rahao: those who "meet the Lord's humble servants sing His Praises," and are given "the jewel of the Lord" — goodness as a priceless gem, handed to us through good company and wise teaching. For a child: keeping good company leads you to joy, and to a treasure more precious than any jewel.

A Question to Sit With

Who is good company that leads you toward joy and goodness?
