Your Name is so beautiful! Your form is so beautiful! Your Love is so very beautiful, O my Lord. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Your Naam is beautiful. Your form is beautiful.

And Your love, my dear One, is the most beautiful of all.

Sometimes love is simply the heart singing what it feels.
The deeper layer

Sometimes love is not an argument. It is just the heart singing what it feels.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Tayraa naam roorho roop roorho at rang roorho mayro raam-ee-aa: Your Name is roorho, beautiful. Your form is beautiful. Your rang, Your love and color, is most beautiful of all, my dear One.

The center of this shabad is pure delight. It is not proving anything. Think of a child running into a parent's arms, shouting, "I love you!" No reasons are needed. The heart just says what it feels.

A Question to Sit With

What's something so beautiful to you that you just want to say so out loud?
