In plain words

When the kind Glance comes, then remembering becomes possible.

The heart softens and rests in love. My soul and the great Soul become one, and the split inside quietly ends.

Grace softens the heart, and a softened heart finds it is not separate after all.
The deeper layer

Grace comes first, and then remembering flows on its own.

Nadar karay taa simri-aa jaa-ay — when the One's kind Glance falls, then remembering happens. Once again, grace comes before effort. It is like the sun coming out first, and only then the flowers opening.

Then the heart darvai, melts and softens. It stays liv laa-ay, soaked in love. The high point is aatmaa paraatamaa ayko karai — the soul and the great Soul become one. At that moment antar kee dubiDhaa, the split inside us, the feeling of being two, simply fades away.

A Question to Sit With

When has feeling loved made it easier for you to be kind?
