Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Through loving the One and serving the teacher, you swim across -- and you are not born again, not caught by death.

Love of the One and humble service are the two oars that row you across.
The deeper layer

The Rahao. The crossing of the world-ocean comes through devotion and service to the Guru. The fruit is release from the cycle of birth and death. Devotion and service -- love and humble action -- are the two oars.

A Question to Sit With

What is one small act of service you could offer someone this week?
