In plain words

Those who quietly remember the One live in a deep gladness — a joy that doesn't depend on things going their way.

That gladness soaks all the way through them, mind and body, until they are steeped in a peace beyond the usual ups and downs.

The deepest gladness isn't a high that comes and goes — it soaks all the way through and stays.
The deeper layer

Simrahi saadh karahi aanand — "the seekers remember, and are in bliss." Parmaanand — "supreme bliss" — is the joy that has a different source than good luck. It is described as ravi-aa, "permeating" mind and body, the way water soaks into cloth. This is the fruit of the daily bathing named in the Rahao: not a passing high but a steady, saturating gladness that becomes the background of a life.

A Question to Sit With

What is a kind of happiness you've felt that didn't depend on getting what you wanted?
