In plain words

O my mind, hold on tight to the One who made the whole sky. The One who set the stars spinning and stretched out the galaxies is the Perfect Oneness, everywhere and complete. When everything feels shaky, this is the Support that never slips. So let me keep that Name close, the way I keep the name of someone I love in my heart even when they are far away.

The One who holds up the galaxies is the same One you can hold on to.
The deeper layer

This is the Pause (rahau), the line the whole shabad circles back to. Paarbarahm pooran parmaysur stacks three names for the Oneness — Supreme, Perfect, all-transcending — and then does something bold: it points at the vastness that "established the solar systems and galaxies" (brahmand khand) and says, hold that for support. The scale is deliberate. The mind reaches for small, breakable supports; the pauri redirects it to the largest possible one, and then makes it intimate again with naam japeejai — keep the Name.

A Question to Sit With

When things feel wobbly, what do you reach for — and what would it feel like to reach for something that cannot break?
