Forgetting Grows From the Love of Division

tin tooN visrahi je tuDh aap bhulaa-ay.
Those whom You Yourself have led astray, forget You.
tin tooN visrahi je doojai bhaa-ay.
Thse who are in love with duality forget You.
manmukh agi-aanee jonee paa-ay. ||2||
The ignorant, self-willed manmukhs are consigned to reincarnation. ||2||

In plain words

Those you let wander forget you. Those in love with division forget you. Living only for the ego, they keep going round again.

Forgetting grows from love of division -- and keeps the self circling.
The deeper layer

Honest about Hukam: even forgetting happens within the One's allowing -- those You led astray. The cause named is duality, and the consequence is the cycle of rebirth for the self-facing person. Orientation again decides the outcome.

A Question to Sit With

What pulls your attention away from what matters most to you?
