No one can measure the One's worth, though everyone keeps trying to describe it. Only those who melt into the Word come to understand.
No one can measure the One; you come to know the One by melting into the Word.
Tis kee keemat kinai na ho-ee — no one can put a price on the One. Keemat means value or price. Kahi kahi kathan kahai sabh ko-ee — everyone keeps trying to describe the One, again and again. The words always fall short. Gurbani comes back to this again and again.
Gur sabad samaavai boojhai har so-ee — whoever merges into the Guru's sabad, the Word, understands the One. Understanding comes by merging, not by describing. Think of learning to swim. You can read about water all day, but you only really know it when you get in. This kind of knowing comes by becoming, not by taking things apart.
