Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One who has all power lacks nothing. Whatever there is to give, the giving simply keeps on — go wherever you like, the Giver is already there ahead of you.
The real treasure to carry is the Name — remembering the One. Those who spend from it live with patience, humbleness, quiet joy, and a natural, easy calm, always keeping the Giver in mind.
Where mercy falls, hearts play and blossom. Those who keep this wealth at home are rich and beautiful forever. Wherever the One’s kind glance rests, there is no fear of harm or hurt — and a life becomes fully, truly successful.
The Name is a treasure you can spend freely because it never runs out, and where the One's kind glance rests there is nothing to fear.
This is the verse for the letter Khakha. It is about grace and plenty. Khoonaa kachh nahee tis samrath kai paahi — the All-powerful One lacks nothing. Jo daynaa so day rahi-o — whatever there is to give, the One keeps giving.
Kharach khajaanaa naam Dhan — the wealth of the Name is a treasure to spend. It is the working money of those who love the One. They spend it freely, because the treasury never empties. Think of a library card. You can borrow as many books as you like, and the library is still full.
The verse is full of warm words. Khimaa is patience and forgiveness. Gareebee is humility. Anad is joy. Sahj is a natural, easy calm.
Khayd na dookh na daan tih jaa ka-o nadar karee — for the one the One looks on with grace, there is no suffering, no pain, no punishment. The weight of the line is on freedom from fear of harm or hurt. Grace is not scarce, and it is not earned by being afraid. It is a treasure freely handed to whoever the kind glance rests on. And that glance is generous.
What would it feel like to own a kind of wealth you could spend as much as you wanted and never run low?
