In plain words

You are real — truly, completely real — the true keeper of the whole world.

Everyone turns toward You; everyone bows at Your feet.

To praise You is a beautiful, graceful thing, and whoever does it is carried safely across.

Those who turn toward the teaching receive the fruit: they melt into the True Name.

Great is my Keeper, and great — beyond measure — is Your greatness.

The One is the most real, most lasting thing there is — and praising what is good is itself a beautiful act that carries you across.
The deeper layer

This Pauri is built on sach — truth as the most real, most lasting thing, not merely "factually correct." Too sachaa saahib sach hai stacks the word again and again, the way you press on something to show it is solid. Against a world of jhooth (things that look real but wash off), the One is what holds. The verse is addressed directly to the One (too — "You"), which gives it the warmth of a child speaking to someone they trust rather than describing a distant power. Teree sifat suaalio saroop hai — "Your praise is itself beautiful and graceful" — carries a lovely idea: praising what is good is not flattery, it is a beautiful act that reshapes the one who does it and ferries them across. The reward, again, goes to the Gurmukh who turns toward the teaching.

A Question to Sit With

What is something in your life that feels truly solid and lasting — the kind of thing that does not "wash off"?
