that Kabir died chanting the Lord's Name. ||5||15||

In plain words

Let the Guru, and every power people bow to, all bear witness.

Kabir went out with the Beloved's Name on his lips — and that is the only home he ever needed.

To live turned toward the One is to be at home already — no place can add to that, and none can take it away.
The deeper layer

Kabir left this life fully at home in the One.

Kaho gur gaj siv sabh ko jaanai — the Guru, Ganesha and Shiva all know it. Ganesha and Shiva are honored figures in Hindu tradition. Kabir calls on the very figures of the tradition around him as witnesses to the truth he lived.

Mu-aa kabeer ramat saree raamai — Kabir died with the Name of the One on his lips. That means he left this life completely at peace, held by what he loved. Think of falling asleep in the arms of someone who loves you. There is nothing to fear. He needed no special place, because he was already home.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to carry something you love with you, quietly, everywhere you go?
