In plain words

If you want to know, go ask those who keep the One in mind. Serving the teacher, the mind grows content. Those who earn the Name are the truly rich. Through the perfect teacher, real understanding comes.

If you want to understand, learn from those who actually live it.
The deeper layer

A practical instruction: go ask the Gurmukhs -- learn from those who live it. Service satisfies the mind, and the Name is the true wealth.

A Question to Sit With

Who would you "go and ask" about how to live well? What would you ask them?
