Look, everyone — a great storm has blown in, and it is made of understanding.
This storm is wonderful. It sweeps away the little huts of doubt I built to hide in, and it snaps the tangled ropes that tied me to wanting more and more. When real understanding arrives, it clears everything that was never true.
This is the Rahao — the pause-line that holds the whole shabad. Kabir takes the frightening image of a storm and turns it inside-out: the storm is gyaan, spiritual understanding, and what it destroys is only illusion — the flimsy shelter of doubt (bharam) and the bindings of maya (mistaking passing things for lasting ones). Nothing real is lost in this storm; only what was never solid.
