Eliminating the three qualities and finding release from this world is my deep meditation. ||2||

In plain words

The whole starry sky is my seeker's horn, and the wide world is the pouch I carry.

My real practice is gently letting go of what tangles me, and finding freedom right here — not by leaving the world, but by holding it lightly.

The whole universe can be your practice — freedom is found by holding the world lightly.
The deeper layer

This one says the whole wide world can be your place of practice.

Kabir keeps playing with the yogi's gear, but now he makes it huge. A yogi carried a singee, a small horn he blew. Kabir's horn is all the galaxies. A yogi carried a pouch of ashes. Kabir's pouch is the whole world.

His deep meditation, his taarhee, is taripal paltee-ai: moving past the three qualities. These are the three moods that tie up every mind — sleepy dullness, restless wanting, and calm goodness. Moving past all three, he finds freedom.

The picture is playful and joyful, like a kid who says the whole backyard is his castle. The seeker does not need to hide in a cave. The whole universe is his practice, and freedom is right here in the middle of it.

A Question to Sit With

Can you imagine the wide world itself as a place of practice, rather than something to escape?
