The Lord leads us to the treasure of devotional worship; He Himself bestows it. ||3||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Whatever has happened, the One has done it -- that is its greatness. The One lives in all its creatures and stirs them to love it. The One leads us to the treasure of devotion and places it in our hands.
Even the devotion in us is something the One stirs and then gives.
Hukam and Gurprasad together: whatever is done, the One does, the One pervades all creatures and inspires their worship, and bestows the very treasure of devotion (cf. the aapay litany). The devotee contributes nothing but openness.
A Question to Sit With
Has a desire to do good ever seemed to arise in you on its own?
