You, Lord, are the Merciful Treasure of Virtue. When it pleases You, Lord, You forgive me.

I am a sinner, saved only by the Company of the Guru. He has bestowed the Teachings of the Lord's Name, which saves me. ||2||

In plain words

My faults are too many to count; I have gone wrong again and again. But you are the merciful treasure of all goodness, and when it pleases you, you forgive. A sinner like me is saved only in the company of the teacher.

Our faults are countless, but mercy forgives -- and the company of the teacher saves.
The deeper layer

The two infinities again (cf. the confession shabads): countless faults against the Treasure of Virtue. Forgiveness is by the One's pleasure (grace), and salvation comes through the Sangat. No self-rescue, only company and mercy.

A Question to Sit With

When have you been forgiven for something you could not undo?
