A Quiet Music Plays Under the Noise of the Mind

In plain words

In the company of the good I found the Holy, by great fortune, and my restless mind grew still.

The unstruck melody keeps sounding and resounding; I have drunk the nectar of the One, showering down.

There's a quiet music always playing under reality — but the noise of a restless mind drowns it out. When good company stills that noise, the deeper music finally comes through.
The deeper layer

Here the Anhad Shabad enters the raag — "the unstruck melody ever vibrates and resounds". This is the background music of reality, heard only when the mind's own noise quiets. And notice the sequence: first "my restless mind was quieted" in good company, then the unstruck melody becomes audible. It was always sounding; the racket of the restless mind drowned it out. When the Sangat stills the noise, the deeper music comes through, and "ambrosial nectar showers down." Peace is not the addition of something new — it is the quieting of the noise that was covering what was always here.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever noticed a quiet, beautiful sound only after everything else went silent? What might you hear if your mind grew that still?
