Seeking and searching, I have become detached; I have found the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

Renouncing everything, I am lovingly focused on the One Lord. I grab hold of the feet of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1||

In plain words

After searching and searching, I let go of clinging and found good company.

Setting other things aside, I gave my heart to the One and held on tight.

After searching a long time, you can let go of clinging and simply hold on tight to what's truly good.
The deeper layer

The verse describes the journey: "seeking and searching, I have become detached; I found the Saadh Sangat... renouncing everything, I am lovingly focused on the One. I grab hold of the feet." After a long search, the heart finds good company, lets go of clinging, and holds on to the good — the image of a child gripping tight to a parent. For a child: after searching, you can let go of clinging and simply hold on tight to what's truly good.

A Question to Sit With

What's worth holding onto tightly, once you find it?
