With loving faith, I am attached to my Beloved; I cannot survive without Him, even for an instant.

He is permeating and pervading my mind and body, O Nanak, with intuitive ease. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

With loving trust I am joined to my Beloved; I cannot stay apart even for a moment.

Nanak says: the One fills my mind and body, with quiet, natural ease.

What you love deeply fills you, quietly and naturally.
The deeper layer

Sardhaa — trusting love. Sahj subhaa-ay — with natural ease, effortlessly; the Beloved pervades mind and body not by force but as one's own nature. Summer's ache now begins to turn toward reunion.

A Question to Sit With

What is something so close to you it feels like part of who you are?
