The Hukam, the Command of the One Lord is all-pervasive; accepting it, peace is found. ||3||

In plain words

Some the One links to singing the One's praise, giving them the Guru's teaching.

To some the One gives the Naam of the True One, which never changes.

Air, water, and fire worship the One by keeping to the flow of existence.

They live in deep awe of the One, who made this whole design perfectly.

One flow runs through everything. Accept it, and you find peace.

Even fire and water keep to the flow, peace comes when you stop fighting it too.
The deeper layer

The elements worship by keeping perfectly to their nature within Hukam, the same figure Gurbani uses for wind, water, and fire throughout. The Fear of God here is bhau, awe and reverence, not terror. Peace rests on mannai, inner alignment: accepting the flow of existence is itself where peace is found, not merely agreeing that it exists.

A Question to Sit With

Where in nature do you see something quietly keeping its place?
