One who becomes a Holy person, appreciates the value of devotional worship to the Lord. The Lord places him in His treasury. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Those who carry Your mark fight bravely in the battle. Those without it run away.

Whoever becomes a holy person knows the worth of loving devotion, and the One puts them in the treasury.

When you belong to something good, you stand firm when it is tested.
The deeper layer

Marked soldiers hold their ground while others back away. Those who belong to the One stay firm under pressure, and whoever values devotion is kept 'in the treasury', held close as something precious.

A Question to Sit With

When has caring about something helped you stick with it even when it got hard?
