The cow is let out of the mansion with ten gates to graze in the fields.
She grazes miles away, but her attention stays on her calf.
You can wander far and still keep your heart at home.
The body is mandar ayk du-aar das — one mansion with ten gates (the openings of the senses), the house the cow is let out from. She grazes kos, miles, away, yet her heart stays with her calf. So the mind may roam through a whole day and still stay rooted in its love.
A Question to Sit With
Who or what does your heart return to, no matter where you go?
