Imbued with the unattached, unstruck Word of the Shabad, I shall go to the home of the Lord, who has no ancestors. ||1||Pause||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Free of grabbing and wanting, I sing of the One.
Soaked in the unstruck Shabad, the Word beyond everything, I will go home to the One who has no ancestors, no family and no rank.
Let go of grabbing, and sing your way home to the One.
Bairaagee is one who has grown free of grasping. Aakul means the One with no kul — no ancestry, no lineage, beyond every family ranking.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line: freed of wanting, he sings, and heads home to that unborn One.
