In plain words

Do not hold anger in your mind, and do not blame death; instead, come to know the pure, peaceful state inside you.

Naam Dayv prays: my King is Raam Chandra, son of King Dasrath. I drink in the sweet nectar.

Let go of anger and blame, and taste the sweetness underneath.
The deeper layer

Manhi na keejai ros — hold no anger; jamhi na deejai dos — do not blame death's messenger. Nirbaan pad is the calm, unshaken state. The close is all sweetness: the One is called King, and the amrit, the nectar, is drunk in.

Raam Chandra, the prince of the Ramayana, is Naam Dayv's way of naming the One.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to set down a grudge you have been carrying?
