Merged, and Merged Again

tum pooran poor rahay sampooran ham bhee sang aghaa-ay.
You are perfect, perfectly all-pervading; I am fulfilled with You as well.
I am merged, merged, merged and remain merged; O Nanak, I cannot describe it! ||4||6||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

You are complete, filling everything everywhere, and with You I am full too.

Merged, merged, merged, I stay merged in You. Nanak says: I cannot describe it.

Near the One, you feel full — and the closeness is beyond words.
The deeper layer

Pooran poor rahay sampooran — perfectly all-pervading, and I am filled along with it. Milat milat milat — the joyful stammer of merging, ending in a closeness beyond words.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel completely full and content?
