Who has died? Tell me, who has died?
You wise ones who know the One, sit together and think this over. Something wondrous has happened!
Who has died? Sit with the wise and wonder.
Who has died? Sit with the wise and wonder, because something marvelous has happened.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Ka-un moo-aa — who has died? — is asked like a riddle. Barahm gi-aanee are people who know the One deeply. Ih ta-o chalat bha-i-aa: what has happened is a wonder, a marvelous play. The question turns the heart from fear toward wonder.
