Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Whoever remembers the Master like this, night and day,
finds the Guru, the Lord of the World, here in this life.
Remember the One day and night, and you find the Guru in this life.
Remember the Master day and night like this, and you find the Guru now, in this life.
This is the second rahaa-o, the second "pause" line. I-o japi-aa naath din rainaa-ee — remembering the Master this way, hun paa-i-aa gur gosaa-ee — one finds the Guru, the Lord of the World, now. The finding happens in this life, not someday far off.
