You are the Lord and Master of Naam Dayv, the King, the Liberator of all. ||4||2||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

You are the Lord of the sun, and of every high power there is, the King over all.

Master of Naam Dayv, the King, the Liberator of everyone.

Every power the world reveres is under one King — who is also the near friend, and the Liberator of everyone.
The deeper layer

The close crowns the One over every power the old world revered — sun, the gods of sky and creation — all of them under the one King. And the final title gathers the whole shabad's intimacy and majesty into one word: "the Liberator of all." The friend Naam Dayv said hello to is the King of every world and the one who sets everyone free. All the many names and powers resolve into a single reality — near as a friend, vast as all worlds, and freeing to all.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean to you that the same reality could be friend, King, and liberator all at once?
