In plain words

Through the Shabad, they recognize the Dear Lord. Through the Guru's Word, they are attuned to Truth.

Filth does not stick to the body of one who has secured a dwelling in his True Home.

When the Lord bestows His Glance of Grace, we obtain the True Name. Without the Name, who are our relatives?

Without the Name, who are our relatives? — the Name is the ground of genuine relationship, connecting all to the One.
The deeper layer

The True Home (sach ghar) as the place of protection from filth: living in the True Home, nothing sticks. Not avoidance of difficulty but genuine non-adherence — the filth does not find purchase.

'Without the Name, who are our relatives?' — bin Naavai kin naatai: the Name as the basis of genuine relationship. Without the Name connecting all beings to the One, relationships have no genuine ground. They are accidents of proximity and blood, not expressions of the underlying unity.

A Question to Sit With

What makes a relationship genuinely deep — what is it that makes some connections feel real and others feel surface? What is the ingredient that makes the difference?
