In plain words

Those who are linked to Truth by the True One — they are linked to Truth. They always act in Truth.

They attain their dwelling in the home of their own inner being. They abide in the Mansion of Truth.

O Nanak — the devotees are happy and peaceful forever. They are absorbed in the True Name.

Those linked to Truth by the True One always act in Truth, dwell in their inner home, and O Nanak — the devotees are happy and peaceful forever, absorbed in the True Name.
The deeper layer

Jin sacho sach milaai-aa, tina sach lipataa-ay — those whom the True One (sacho) links (milaai-aa — united, linked) with Truth (sach) — they are linked to Truth (tina sach lipataa-ay — they are embraced by Truth). The grammar is important: the True One links them with Truth; then they are linked. Not: they linked themselves. The True One does the linking. Lipataa-ay — embraced, clinging to, wrapped in. The one whom God has embraced in Truth is wrapped in Truth.

Sadaa sach kar-m kamaavanday, sach mah shabad samaavanday — always (sadaa) they perform the deeds of Truth (sach kar-m kamaavanday — earning truthful actions, practicing truth); they are absorbed (samaavanday) in the Shabad within Truth. The embedded-in-Truth quality: their actions are true because they are absorbed in the Shabad, absorbed in the True One. The actions are not willed to be true — they are true because the source of the actions is Truth.

Har bhagtaa anand sadaa, Nanak sach naami laagai — the Lord's devotees (har bhagtaa) are in anand (bliss) always (sadaa); O Nanak, they are absorbed (laagai) in the True Name (sach naami). The closing seal of the final ashtapadee: anand sadaa. Always in bliss. Not sometimes, not when things are going well, not when the meditation is going smoothly — sadaa (always). This is the promise and the destination: the soul linked to Truth by the True One, absorbed in the True Name, dwelling in the inner home — always in bliss. This is where the Siree Raag ends: not in suffering, not in uncertainty, but in anand.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to imagine being 'always in bliss' — does that sound true, or does it sound too good? And what would need to change in your life for it to be true?
