In plain words

Wherever I look, I see only His beauty. The division I thought I saw — between here and there, sacred and ordinary — is gone. There is only this: His beautiful presence, everywhere.

The True Guru opens the doors. Not some doors, not most — wide open.

He is Beautiful in all places — when the Guru opens the doors, there is nowhere left that is not sacred.
The deeper layer

The non-dual seeing

Sohanḍaṛo habh thā'e, ko'e na disai doojṛo — "He is Beautiful in all places; I do not see any other at all." This Dakhanaa is the experiential report of someone who has arrived at the state the previous Chhant prayed for. The prayer was "permeate my body, mind and being." The Dakhanaa that follows describes what that permeation looks like from inside: no second. No other. Just beauty, everywhere.

This is not a philosophical claim about non-duality. It is a first-person description of a state. The person experiencing it is not debating metaphysics — they are reporting what they see. Koye na disai doojṛo — "I do not see any other at all." The second has disappeared, not because anything was destroyed, but because it was recognized as the same One in another form.

"The doors are opened wide"

Khulhaṛe kapāt naanak satgur bheṭate — "meeting with the True Guru, O Nanak, the doors are opened wide." The two-line Dakhanaa here contains the entire movement of the composition compressed: the state (beauty everywhere, no second), and the mechanism (the True Guru opens the doors). The Guru does not teach you to see differently. He opens something that was already there — locked, not absent.

A Question to Sit With

*When have you experienced a moment where something ordinary suddenly became radiant — where you saw what was always there as if for the first time?*
