True Justice Is Administered

man kay bikaar maneh tajai man chookai moh abhimaan.
One who eliminates mental wickedness from within the mind, and casts out emotional attachment and egotistical pride,
aatam raam pachhaani-aa sehjay naam samaan.
comes to recognize the All-pervading Soul, and is intuitively absorbed into the Naam.
bin satgur mukat na paa-ee-ai manmukh firai divaan.
Without the True Guru, the self-willed manmukhs do not find liberation; they wander around like lunatics.
sabad na cheenai kathnee badnee karay bikhi-aa maahi samaan. ||3||
They do not contemplate the Shabad; engrossed in corruption, they utter only empty words. ||3||

In plain words

True Justice is administered in the Court of the True Lord.

In the True Court, the account is settled. One realizes the Shabad and merges in the True One.

The universe is not a chaos of random events. True Justice is being administered — though we may not always see it.

True Justice is administered in the True Court — which settles accounts that no human court can reach.
The deeper layer

Sach Darbaar (True Court) and Sachaa Niaao (True Justice) — the divine administers justice that is genuinely true. Not the partial, self-serving justice of human courts, but the complete justice of the One who knows all.

The lekha (account) is settled in this Court. The one who merges in the Shabad has their account settled: they no longer carry the debt of ego-action because they have stopped claiming ego-action.

A Question to Sit With

Do you believe the universe tends toward justice — that what matters is somehow accounted for, even when human systems fail? What is that belief based on for you?
