In plain words

The Boat of the True Guru is the Name of the Lord. How can we climb on board?

One who walks in harmony with the True Guru's Will comes to sit in this Boat.

Blessed, blessed are those very fortunate ones who are united with the Lord through the True Guru.

The one requirement to board the Boat is to walk in the Guru's Will — the simplest instruction and the hardest to follow.
The deeper layer

The closing pauri answers the opening question of the shabad ("How can I climb on board?") with characteristic simplicity: jo Satgur bhaanai chalanaa — one who walks in harmony with the True Guru's Will comes to sit in the Boat.

No elaborate requirements. No prerequisites of virtue or learning. Walk in harmony with the Guru's Will. This is the one thing. And it is exactly the thing the ego resists most.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like when you are genuinely in harmony with something — a situation, a relationship, a direction — versus when you are fighting it? Can you describe the physical difference?
