In plain words

O my Siblings of Destiny — please unite me in Union with my Lord God.

I am a sacrifice to the True Guru who has shown me the Lord God.

He showed me. That is the one thing that matters. He showed me what I was looking for.

The Guru shows the divine — not as concept but as direct showing. The showing is the gift.
The deeper layer

The rahao is a plea directed at the community (saajanho — O friends, dear ones): unite me in Union with the Lord. Guru Ram Das asks the Sangat to help bring about what he is seeking. This is not weakness — it is the proper use of community: asking the gathered ones to hold the intention together.

"I am a sacrifice to the True Guru who has shown me" — dikhaaiyaa. Not given to me as a concept, not told me as a doctrine. Shown. The direct showing is the gift. The Guru as the one who makes the invisible visible.

A Question to Sit With

Is there something you have heard about or read about and believed, but not yet directly experienced? What would it take to move from knowing about it to actually seeing it?
