In plain words

Arising each day, you cherish your body — but you are idiotic, ignorant, and without understanding.

You are not conscious of God, and your body shall be cast into the wilderness.

Focus your consciousness on the True Guru — and you shall enjoy bliss forever and ever.

The body you carefully cherish will be cast into the wilderness — invest in what actually lasts.
The deeper layer

The body as the primary object of human care — tan poshtaa (cherishing the body). Not eating or health, but the excessive investment in the body's appearance, comfort, and indulgence.

The contrast: the body that is so carefully cherished shall be baahar suttaa — thrown out, cast into the wilderness, abandoned. No one will keep it. All the cherishing produces nothing permanent.

"Focus your consciousness on the True Guru" — the redirect. The energy currently invested in cherishing the body can be invested in the Guru's teaching. The bliss that follows is sadaa (forever) — unlike the body's pleasures.

A Question to Sit With

How much time and energy do you put into how you look and feel physically? Is there a proportion that feels right, and one that doesn't? Where is the line?
