In plain words

By the Grace of the Saints, the True Name of the Lord is obtained.

The Divine Light illuminates within. The darkness of spiritual ignorance is dispelled.

Light that comes from the Saints' grace and eliminates the inner darkness.

Saints' grace leads to the Naam, which illuminates the inner light — the light was always there, waiting to be uncovered.
The deeper layer

The chain: Saints' grace → True Name obtained → Divine Light illuminates within → darkness dispelled. The chain begins with the Saints' grace, not with the individual's practice. The Saadh Sangat is the entry point into the whole sequence.

Parkash (divine illumination) within: the same inner light that appears in Shabad 80 (Meeting the True Guru). The light is not new — it was always within. The Saints' grace and the Naam remove what was obscuring it.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever experienced something being revealed in you — a quality you didn't know was there — because of someone else's presence or teaching? What was revealed? Who helped reveal it?
