In plain words

Sing the songs of praise of the Lord who is without fear. I am a sacrifice to that song — to that act of genuine praise that brings peace that never ends.

The song of genuine praise does not just describe peace — it carries you into it.
The deeper layer

"Fearless" — Nirbhao — is one of the qualities named in the Mool Mantar. The oneness has no fear because there is nothing outside it to fear. Fear requires a threat from something separate. The oneness has no separate threatening other.

When you sing in genuine praise of something fearless, some of that fearlessness comes into you. The song is not merely expressive — it is transformative. The one who sings with full presence of mind arrives at the peace the song describes. This is why Guru Nanak says he is "a sacrifice to that song" — the singing itself is the arrival.

A Question to Sit With

Is there a song, a prayer, a poem, or even a piece of music that when you really listen to it or sing it, genuinely changes how you feel inside? What is it about it that does that?
