The merchandise you were actually sent here to pick up - the Name - is stocked in one place: the home of the good.
Set down your pride at the entrance; weigh the Name out inside your own heart.
Load the shipment, and travel with the caravan of the good - drop the crooked side-deals.
The ones who trade this way are called blessed wherever they pass, and their faces shine in the court of Truth. Few run this route. To them, everything I have.
You came into this world to pick up one thing: the Name.
The pauri talks to the soul like a trader who forgot why they came to market. Jis vakhar ka-o lain too aa-i-aa — the goods you came here to get. Vakhar means merchandise. Being born was a shopping trip. You were sent with money to spend: your breaths, your attention, your years. The world's shops sell everything except the one thing on your list.
Where is it found? Raam naam santan ghar paa-i-aa — the Name is found in the home of the good. It is kept where it is loved.
Then come travel tips, the kind any trader would give. Travel with the good. Long ago, merchants never crossed a wild land alone, and souls should not either. Drop the crooked side-deals. And taj abhimaan — leave your pride at the door, as the price of getting in.
The reward comes in two places. Here, people call you blessed. There, in the court of Truth, your face shines. Raag Aasaa often pictures the Name as goods to trade. This pauri packs that whole picture into one shopping list.
If your life is a shopping trip and you were sent for one thing, what is filling your cart right now?
